The Ringmaker was established in 1985 to address the divide between the traditional and costly Arthouse jewellery creations privately commissioned by the wealthy and an increasing public demand for affordable, readily accessible yet individual statement jewellery.
We have combined the design studio environment with a contemporary gallery layout incorporating ready to wear pieces, inspirational design books and imagery with well equipped individual design areas. We have no pushy sales representatives, remote design office - our fully qualified jewellery designers are our public face as well as your advisors and guides through the cost and detail of the whole process.
The Ringmaker design experience is tailored to meet our customers' individual needs. Gather inspiration from our in house design books and stock, our website, your own ideas and research and spend as long as you need with one of our designers who will draw in front of you developing ideas through conversation to an accurate scale design. We can work in any style from classic through to cutting edge design.
Our in house design service is free and no appointment is necessary, however if there is a time that suits you best you may want to call or email in advance to book your design consultation.
We can also make arrangements for you to view and choose from a selection of diamonds / gemstones to your exact specification either in advance of your appointment or while your order is in progress. We can guide you to make an informed choice. All our stones are conflict free.
If you have your own diamond or have sourced one from the internet we can design and make a beautiful original ring with your stone. We can also remodel your jewellery adding stones and metal if required to make you a piece of jewellery that you will be delighted to wear
Your designer will provide a quote for handmaking the design you have chosen and will then make practical suggestions for any adaptions necessary to accommodate your budget.
Some may claim to provide 'bespoke', 'original' and 'designed' jewellery. Often these products are assembled or adapted from mass produced component parts or are produced in bulk from overseas suppliers, all our materials are sourced in the UK to ensure the highest quality and our highly talented craftsmen are all UK based.
